Product Description
The Fire by Design XHCG Extra High Capacity AWEIS 24VAC Electronic Gas Fire Pit Ignition System with Commercial Grade Pilot provides a high quality component that can be used to complete a DIY fire pit project. The patented All-Weather Electronic Ignition System (AWEIS) features a reliable blend of technology and components to offer a simple and quick ignition to a gas fire feature. The 316 marine grade stainless steel control box safely houses the electronic components to withstand the elements in some of the most extreme wind, rain, and other inclement weather. The unit operates on 24 VAC power to start the hot surface igniter, which ignites the pilot light. After the pilot is lit, the thermocouple senses the heat and transfers the electronic signal to open the main gas valve. NOTE: The power supply for this unit is not included and must be purchased separately if needed.
The AWEIS Extra High Capacity is rated for a max BTU output of 1,100,000 BTU. The valve features 1-inch FIP inlet/outlet fittings to connect with other gas components. The entire valve box measures 7.5625 by 7.4375 by 8 inches (W x D x H).
