How are ceramic glass torch panels cleaned without scratching them?

Let the unit go cold and isolate it first. Clean with a soft cloth only, using a glass product with no abrasive in it, and soak stubborn deposits loose rather than scraping them. Never dry wipe a dusty panel, since the dust becomes abrasive. Scratches concentrate thermal stress permanently.

What concrete footer depth does an in ground torch post require?

Set it below the frost line, because concrete inside freezing ground lifts and leaves the post leaning within a few seasons. The local building authority publishes frost depth, and it differs widely by region. Diameter and concrete volume come from the manufacturer, whose numbers already allow for wind leverage on a tall thin object.

How is 24 volt wiring run safely alongside torch gas plumbing?

Confirm the separation distance with local code before trenching. Give each service its own conduit and its own entry into the post, never a shared opening. Leave the gas joint within reach for a leak check after the electrical work wraps up. Site the transformer to limit voltage drop over the run.

Which torch mounting format suits which site?

Post mounting stands independently and suits open ground but needs groundwork. Wall mounting removes groundwork and transfers load into the structure it attaches to. Pier mounting sets onto existing masonry, which suits entries and pool surrounds, though the pier must have been built with service routing in place.

What does a removable rain cap do on a gas torch?

It closes the housing against falling rain, which would otherwise reach the burner and ignition hardware. It lifts off because both the burner and the panels need getting at from time to time. Repeated heating and cooling works caps loose, so inspect that fixing during every clean.

Tempest Torch

Tempest Torch units enclose the flame behind heavy ceramic glass, which holds a spiral flame shape in weather that would extinguish an open burner. Three mounting formats cover most sites: post, wall, and pier. The range appears under outdoor heating and patio alongside the full outdoor gas torches selection.
