Product Description
The Fire by Design HCG-FS Field Serviceable High Capacity AWEIS Electronic Gas Fire Pit Ignition System provides a high quality component that can be used to complete a DIY fire pit project. The patented All-Weather Electronic Ignition System (AWEIS) features a reliable blend of technology and components to offer a simple and quick ignition to a gas fire feature. The 316 marine grade stainless steel control box safely houses the electronic components to withstand the elements in wind, rain and other inclement weather. The unit operates on either 30 VDC, 120VAC or 24 VAC power to start the hot surface igniter, which ignites the pilot light. After the pilot is lit, the thermocouple senses the heat and transfers the electronic signal to open the main gas valve. Fire by Design's new "Field Serviceable" AWEIS technology has drastically decreased controller/igniter failures and makes the process of replacing parts much easier and more cost-effective. NOTE: The 24VAC model includes a power supply, the 30VDC and 120VAC models does not.
The AWEIS Standard Capacity is rated for a max BTU output of 512,000 BTU with a maximum inlet pressure of 0.5 PSI. The valve features 3/4-inch FPT fittings to connect with other gas components.
